Melvin's Roofing, LLC gets my whole-hearted endorsement.

A co-worker who had used their services in the past recommended them to us. He passed along Dylan's phone number. From start to finish, Dylan and his team of professionals were super responsive, answering all of our questions and even anticipating questions we didn't consider ourselves.

What's more, he and his team were there for us even when meeting with insurance adjusters. Dylan talked us through the process and followed up after the work was done (they replaced the roof in a single day, by the way, and installed gutters the next day).

My roof shingles were past their useful life of almost 30 years. I selected Melvin roofing because they did my adjacent neighbor's total roof replacement and was impressed at how quickly they got it done, and how well they installed it. I got other quotes, but there's was the best overall for my total roof replacement, and I already seen extremely very recent work that allowed me to trust them. I knew I had several fascia boards that were rotten. They said they could replace/repair them as well and they did a great job using pressure-treated wood so the fascia boards would last hopefully for the life of the house. They also repaired rotted out particle board at the bottom of a valley in my roof. They definitely wanted to do the job right and not just do it as fast as they can. They also replaced the shingles on my sun room which has a metal insulated roof. I went with their recommendation using CertainTeed architectural shingles. I was amazed at how nice these shingles are and actually absorb traffic and even rain sounds. They used a sub-contractor to do the gutter replacement. Melvin roofing did a good job making sure they do the job well. There was a couple minor gutter issues that needed to be tended to after the install. the problems were noticed once there was a rain fall.

I had the roof and gutter replacement done back in February. It is now June, and the whole installation is still looking great with no need to call them for any issues. Jacob was the field superintendent. He was very responsive (same day, same hour sometimes), and was on site as needed to make sure the work got done. They did a great job with protection of property and clean up. I think I only found one roof nail which I found a week or two after the installation. I take care of my own yard, and now that it is June, I've not seen anything else from the roof installation.

I chose four companies to get estimates from. Two had been in the business for 30 and 40 years, but their materials used and professionalism did not match Melvin’s! Dillon worked with me from the beginning to the end of the process! I had many questions and he gave the answers.

The only draw back is, they could not get the shingles in Harbor Blue 😩….But, the company no longer makes them! That’s the only reason Melvin’s could not get them. ☺️ (They would have!) Their work is of quality, care, and timely!

At any rate, I love my new roof and it looks so good! I would recommend Melvin’s to everyone!!

We received multiple quotes to get our roof replaced and gutters installed and Melvin’s Roofing had the best price. The entire process was super seamless and they did great work.

The only small issue is we had to have some rotting plywood replaced in certain spots and when he initially came out to give us a quote, he implied that those spots would be replaced with plywood; however, they were actually replaced with OSB.

All in all, they did great work and I would recommend!
