Being, and purchasing a property, from out of state can be a very difficult task. However, working with Michael made it easier than purchasing local. Not only does Michael understand and know the market like the back of his hand but he treated the process as though he were purchasing his own property. We explained exactly what we were looking for and from there Michael found it and worked to get us a great deal in this market. His efforts didn’t stop there though. With a couple of repairs that needed to addressed he coordinated and made sure they were completed by visiting the property, inspecting the work, and forward pictures. Again handling it as though it were his own. In our opinion he has gone over and above during and after the transaction taking all the stress of the process off of us. For all who view this review, I highly recommend Michael as he sets the bar high and should be recognized as the Gold Standard of realtors!

In a crowded, competitive market such as Charlotte, you see a lot of self proclaimed "experts" that are dressed the part, tell you what you want to hear etc. The reality is often times they're out for their own best interest, not yours. You can sense the deception followed by the obligatory phrase of " it's only gonna go up in value." As a first time buyer, that was NOT my main objective. I wanted something that would suit my busy lifestyle, not a project. Michael was a class act from start to finish. No obligations, no pressure or trickery.

Michael is not new to town. You'd be hard pressed to find someone more knowledgable about EVERY neighborhood from Lake Wylie to Mooresville. Pair that with a selfless, patient approach catered towards your needs, its like finding a needle in a haystack. Michael doesn't "play business" No fancy tag lines, he's going to tell you what you need to hear. And he did just that for at least a dozen of properties we toured. I have a service dog which Michael was very respectful of, something I greatly appreciated with our very first meeting. He knew everything about the home, there was not one question he couldn't answer. Michael anticipated HOA questions and was prepared with a years worth of meeting minutes. He assisted in the negotiation process, accurately told us what it would take to own this home, saving us days of back and forth. His connections with the lenders were a valuable asset. Michael understood the necessity of us being relocated here and worked to ensure a timely closing. Michael Richards made it happen for us, we could not be happier, that sums it up.

Michael did an exceptional job in selling my townhome. He went above and beyond to help me get my home ready to show at its best, and was able to provide great connections for flooring, electrical, and paint touch-ups, who all did excellent work on a quick timeline. I felt that he made my sale a priority, and he was persistent from the first day it listed all the way through closing. His advice and hard work throughout the process was invaluable.
