The lake and property are well taken care of. There are lifeguards. Pack a lunch and snacks to save money, but the offer consessions. It's roaped off so swimmers don't go too deep. Bring floats or rent them. Picnic tables are first come, first serve. The picnic shelter is by reservation only. Bathrooms are pretty clean, and they have changing rooms. I wish they offered a seasonal membership, but I understand why they don't.

Nice replacement to the beach for the kids. Has sand for the little ones to play in and water slides and obstacle courses for the big kids. They sell food and picnic areas for rent. Lifeguards are staffed which is nice, but the only downside is that when we went all the small slides were closed off and that’s the whole reason why we came. Still was able to make due and have fun. Definitely recommend.

It was a blast! The kids loved it, we loved it, and our group had lots of fun. Lots of on lake play like water slides, floating obstacles, and rope jump. The jump area is dug in to be deeper for jumps and diving. I recommend life vests for kids and nonswimmers. The gate pricing was reasonable in my opinion. I think it was like 12 for adults and less for children (forgot the exact numbers) but we paid a total of $56 for 2 adults and 3 kids plus driving thru the gates for parking (that was about $2) but there is free parking outside the gate. We brought our own food and grilling items, but they have grills all over the shed and picnic areas. You may bring a beach blanket, chair, tent, whatever you'd normally take to the beach. Sheds and picnic tables are first come first serve. It's a wonderful place to get together, grill out, play, and have fun.

Without a doubt the friendliest people that run this campground. They are family and treat you like family. Campground is clean and lake is so much fun.

Please like & share our reviews. *** Bring cash for gate entry.*** Open 7 days a week. *Wheelchair accessible: NO. (Nothing is concrete and so many inclines/declines and tree roots.)
We passed this gem while returning from the coast one evening. Boy did the place look like fun!
If you are longing for the days of Ol' America and how things used to be, visit Tucker Lake. It was the America I remember. People were friendly, fun & social.
Cost: $12 for adults, $10 for 3-10 yrs, 2 & under free, $2 for cars if you drive throgh the gate. If you do not plan to use the picnic areas, park at the first parking lot on the left as you pass the little entrance garden. You can have coolers and food on the lake just be careful not to litter.
    * Life Guards are everywhere! They were excellent too. My son went running into the lake solo while I was still applying sunscreen. He had on a life vest and tube but was without an adult and the life guard immediately jumped up to see where I was, it was impressive.
    * Toddlers & Baby mommas: This is perfect for you! There are several little slides and activities for your babies. You can bring infants in a covered floatie and they would love it. The water was clear and it wasn't over-crowded. You can float baby around and not worry about getting splashed.
    * Kids 5 & up: There are bigger slides and obstacle courses for these guys. They will love the floating obstacle course. There is also a huge slide on the lake on shore. Kids must be 42" to ride.
*Adults: There is a trapeze swing and a zip line free fall. It was so fun to watch the older teens and adults "perform".
If you didn't bring your own food and drinks, never fear, there is a food shack on site too
We saw several folks eating food from there. Sanitation rating was 100% which is beyond impressive!!! Prices are reasonable.
If you have a toddler who randomly goes through the packed beach bags and removes the sun cream and you fail to realize said sun cream is not with you at the lake, they do have some for sale at the shop next to the food shack. It is 100 proof and cost $10.
There are public bathrooms, shaded picnic areas, outdoor grills, and trash receptacles everywhere. The lake shore closest to the entrance is where most of the little kids activites are. The far back area is mostly just lake shore and zip line fun.
The bathrooms and dressing area were the cleanest I have ever seen at a lakeside swim place. In all of my travels worldwide, this bathroom area was shockingly well kept up. No muddy puddles and grime on the floor, and everything functioned. There was a fan running which kept the air oscilating and cool. We were really shocked at how cleanly it was.
(For kids who really do not like the beach all that well, there are several play grounds and swing sets that they can enjoy. * Just be very careful because they are right alongside the entry way where people are constantly driving in and out.)
We arrived at Tucker Lake at noon on Sunday and there was a CARAVAN of cars. The women at the gate were soooo quick at taking monies and getting the line through. They were quick but courteous.
We were there til closing and my kids, after 6 straight hours of non-stop play did not want to leave. We had so much fun that we will definitely be back with friends next time too!
Took so many videos and pictures. What a blast!! Thank you to all the staff & employees for a wonderful time this weekend!~
