East Clayton Community Park

Great park! Restrooms, plenty of varied play equipment for all ranges of kids. Many shaded areas, including seating for parents.

Lovely park! Very beautiful and clean. We were there to visit the playground. My two year old had a blast! He loved all the various climbing equipment and the sand area. Even with a rather crowded amount of guest there was still plenty of space and stuff for all the kids. Great variety of play equipment for toddlers and up to preteen age. I highly recommend.

Beautiful park! Always our favorite for throwing discs and walking the doggos.
Today we enjoyed it even more with the new changes with the kiddie play area and the whole place got a landscaping overhaul and overgrowth trimmed up nicely. This place is a wonderful secret treasure locked away in gorgeous open woods and well maintained pathways.

My 2nd favorite park in Johnston County. Smithfield Parks & Recreation by SSS takes #1. This park has a peaceful, pretty, and clean location. I have drove up on a day when it wasn’t busy and have seen people disinfecting the playground which is great. I love the musical instruments and my son loves the rotating slide and the swings and sandbox. Very nice people always at this park. If your kids like sand, bring some beach toys they’ll love it! Stroller friendly place. Has bathrooms and a water fountain. There is a water feature that is winterized right now at the sandbox, I’m sure it’ll be fun in the summer.

There is an awesome walking trail at the park.
