When looking to change insurance companies we looked around at several and found that Farm Bureau would be over $1000 cheaper per year and provide better coverage for our family. I honestly can't say enough great things about Matt as our insurance agent. We've worked with other big insurance companies previously, and it always felt like we were just marking something off our to do list. But, when we met with Matt for the first time, he walked us through what exactly we were being covered for, what all the terms meant, and offered suggestions based on our own personal circumstances. He truly went above and beyond and for the first time ever, we felt like we understood our insurance coverage. Fast forward a few months and my husband and I were on our way out of town. We stopped to grab a quick breakfast, and when we got back in our car, the battery died. We weren't able to jump it, and I had called Matt (oh yeah, did I mention we're able to contact him directly? Not just his office staff?!) just to check and see if he could remind us of our coverage since it was looking like we needed to get a tow truck. He reminded us of everything and even reminded us to make sure everything was documented, VIN numbers written down, etc. etc. All things we easily could have forgotten given the circumstances! On top of that, he googled nearby towing companies and sent them to us, and also contacted a local auto shop to have them come change our battery when the Honda dealer told us it would be over two hours before they could service us. Never in my life did I expect an insurance agent to go so far above and beyond to help us!! He made an otherwise frustrating situation a total breeze. Did we mention he was on paternity leave and in the middle of newborn photos when we called him? And he still jumped into action to do everything to help us? Seriously, if you're not working with Matt, you're really missing out!

Matt is awesome. He is exceptionally helpful for someone like me who doesn’t really know anything about insurance. I basically say “this is what I need” and he says “you got it.” He doesn’t hound you, he tells you what he thinks is best and he makes sure you feel valued. I’m going on 3 years now (it may actually be more) of using them for my car and renters insurance and I have no plans to change any time soon.
