It works if you want it to, it's all the eye of the beholder, I know it's helped me and I don't lie to myself I'm going to be going here for the remainder of my days! Are until I figure out a miracle! As for the ones saying it's a place to get high don't really knows how this works! And the people there are good people, they do care but they can't bend the rules for you.
The staff is great and there is hardly any line at all so if you work you are good to go because the most you wait is 5 minutes. I been to four different clinics in NC. This one is by far the best!
The staff is very comitted to helping you achieve and keep your sobriety. Deciding to go there has been one of the best things I've ever done. Even with some slips along the way the staff has always been there to help me out.
I heard the horror stories about methadone clinics and was hesitant to Start. I'm writing this because I did so much research before I started and hope this May help someone else who is struggling to know what to do. Today I'm glad I did start methadone. This place has helped to save my life. I have gone back too school, started a small business, and have the love and respect of my family, things That 2 years ago i thought I would never have. but if you are in the Sanford area and are really looking to get better and stop using this place can help. I had tried to get clean for the last 7 or 8 years. After multiple relapses after small amounts of sobriety, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, etc. I decided to look towards something more long term. This was the last house on the block for me. I would not recommend this to someone with small habit or for their first time trying to get sober. I had many failed attempts before deciding to come to the clinic. This is normally a long term program and isn't a1 and done kind of deal. With that being said I am detoxing slowly, and im now at a relatively low dose and continuing to decrease while my quality of life continues to increase. In the beginning it was tough but once I was at a stable dose for awhile I was able to start coming down 1mg per week. Which is very slow but With all my failed attempts at fully detoxing outside of the clinic before, I felt That the slower the better. Methadone has given me the chance to take my life back. But only because I have been putting the work in
