  This shop is a hidden gem in Charlotte NC.
  
  My wife and I purchased a Baby Lock Ovation Serger and have also attended many workshops,.
  
  Here you can find all of the top Sewing machine and Serger brands but most importantly you will find the small shop care and experience that many of us still long for in this age and for me is the reason we should always strive to shop local first. We also received a wonderful deal on a top of the line product that we had shopped for in three states.

  We went to Charlotte Sewing Center yesterday afternoon and Bill (owner) greeted us and answered questions we had. We were looking for a machine that would sew, embroidery, and quilt. He was EXTREMELY knowledgable and friendly. We told him that we had a couple of other places we wanted to check out and would be back. We came back after 3:00pm. We knew they closed at 4:00pm so we tried to be quick with our questions but he never made us feel rushed or like we were keeping him. We ended up leaving a bit after 5:00pm...over an hour after they close and he was never rushed to make us keep moving along. We ended up buying a Pfaff Creative 3.0 (he offered us a great deal on the floor model...photo below) with a lot of extras "toys" to go with it. He even helped carry it all out fo our car (I have a broken foot). Speaking of my broken foot, while we were looking at a machine, he brought me a chair so I didn't have to stand.
  
  We never felt pressured into buying something and there wasn't any up selling. He asked what I was wanting to do with a machine and he showed us 2...neither was the top of the line/most expensive. He really cares about making the customer happy.
  
  On top of such friendly folks working there; if you buy a machine from them you get FREE ONE-ON-ONE TWO HOUR CLASSES to learn everything about your machine...as many classes as you want! I've only touched a sewing machine once in my life so this was beyond a selling point to me! Bill got me signed up for a class before we left (keep in mine, we had already kept him over an hour past closing).
  
  Just a really good vibe from the storefront and Bill. We can't say enough great things about our experience in the Charlotte Sewing Center.

  I just want to say that I was very pleased with the training service I received today for my machine. Bill and his staff is so very kind. I will be bringing all my business to them.

  Really enjoyed visiting this store and speaking with the very knowledgeable owners and staff. They have a great set up and nice location. The classes are well planned and I love the one on one classes offered when you purchase a machine from them. The father and son owners were a pleasure to speak with and took great care of us when we came in to look at and purchase a machine. Definitely went above and beyond and will recommend to my friends.

  Very friendly, knowledgeable family business. Good location with plenty of parking. Many machines on display with sewing, quilting, and embroidery accessories. Looking forward to the complimentary, private lessons offered. Off to a great start.
