  Our daughter started attending Black Belt USA through their summer camp program a couple of years ago. Like most young kids, it was always a struggle to get her up and going in the mornings. After the first day of summer camp she was hooked and would pop up in the mornings with no probing at all.
  
  She immediately told my husband and I that she wanted to continue with the program after Summer Camp and she has been going ever since. Madison has participated in their Summer Camp, After School and Tae Kwon Do Programs and thoroughly enjoys each and everyone. We love the discipline that is instilled in her and how much care and attention is given to each and every student. The staff at Black Belt USA truly make us feel like family and we feel extremely fortunate to have found them. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a safe fun place for your child to learn more about martial arts and self defense. You will not be sorry.

  I wouldn’t go anywhere where else!
  My fiancé got me and my 3 girls involved here almost 3 years ago because of my history with domestic violence. He wanted us all to know how to protect ourselves....we do Muay Thai and the girls do tkd, it has become my oldest daughters #1passion in life. I personally hesitated to start due to health reasons (rods and fusions with my spine and MS) but starting here has helped me ALOT!!!! Not only are the kings teaching self defense they encourage growth...How I see myself has changed soooo much I have limitations, but their teaching style caters to everyone’s individual needs. I feel more confident in my own body and am amazed at the thingsI can do when I once only wished to do it. I encourage everyone to try it out here if there is one ounce of desire to try, don’t listen to the negative mind chatter saying “I can’t” and step outside your comfort zone and give it a try. My whole family trains here and we’ve gained ever more family with everyone else who trains here (very family friendly ). The energy is always positive, motivating, encouraging and respectful. Our lives have changed for the better and for that i am forever thankful ????????

  This is the best place to learn karate especially if you want to learn Taekwondo. The Kings are great instructor and are very passionate about teaching. Master king takes personal interest in knowing the kids and their families which makes it a place where kids love to come. My son has been learning Taekwondo for 2 1/2 years and enjoys every bit of it. he looks forward to go to his classes. There are places around town which boasts of Taekwondo but do not teach this martial art in the true sense. I can say this because I have leant Taekwondo myself and also been in a situation where after enrolling our son at another place realized it wasn't what it was supposed to be. So try it out for yourself.

  I studied Muay Thai, so I can really only speak to that, but this is an excellent martial arts studio. The Kings are excellent instructors, they move at an appropriate pace for the skill level of the students and place a lot of emphasis on form, focus, and doing things correctly before doing them quickly. There's also a great sense of community among the participants, and the more advanced students will often take part in the beginner classes, helping with instruction as you go. I had to move away, and we miss this place.

  Black Belt USA is a wonderful place to go if you're having a bad day!! Stress relief at its best! Ha ha but seriously its a martial arts school that focuses on respect for others, and most importantly, yourself. I've been training here for almost 2 years and I love the training, the people, and the way I feel when I walk outta there every time I come to class. Eating right, and simply coming to your scheduled training days, you'll be in the best shape of your life in no time. With the family oriented program directors, and awesome training teams, it makes for a very enjoyable experience every time you go. So if you are looking to get your martial arts path started, sharpen up your skills, compete at the highest levels, or just want the best workout in town, Black Belt USA in Charlotte, NC is where you wanna be!!!
