All around great place!
I come to Pro Fit Rehab to be treated for a variety of issues. I run everyday so there are plenty. More recently I was treated for Plantar fasciitis in my left foot. Dr. Ashenpharb (very personable and knowledgeable) recommended a dry needle treatment for this particular issue. I've had plenty of acupuncture treatments and find that they help with various issues. I was not sure at first but decided to give it a go. Dr. Ashenpharb was great about explaining the procedure and how it worked before starting. Laying face down on massage table, Dr. Ashenpharb carefully placed 6 or 7 needles in various places on my left, lower calf, and arch of my foot. He then connected electrodes to some of the needles to stimulate the problem area (for about 15 to 20 minutes). The needle placement was not painful (only a little discomfort when trigger point was successfully located, this is good, it means that it is working). After the stimulation, Dr. Ashenpharb carefully removed the needles and heat treated the area for about 10 to 15 minutes. That was it. Dr. Ashenpharb explained that it would be sore or crampy for 2 or 3 days, but I only experienced this feeling for a few hours. From my first experience I can say that the dry needle procedure was a success since my calf was looser and heel/foot pain was greatly reduced. I highly recommend Dr. Ashenpharb and this procedure for those that are looking for alternative treatments. Many thanks to Dr. Ashenpharb and your staff for your excellent service.
Excellent "Hands on" therapy. The staff at Pro Fit are wonderful. Each of the staff members have a great bedside manner, you feel as if you are part of a family. The office is clean and cozy. There are refreshments in the waiting area.
