  Incredible meal, drinks and service. Lets' start with the drinks-inventive and delicious. (and the mixologist (Amanda-who is the absolute best and a bright spot for certain.) was available to answer questions and tweak to suit. (aka: a cocktail on the menu sounded amazing but I don't love tequila and she created something custom) The food: complete care and details. Service: since the place is small plates and items arrive when ready-each course is seemingly brought to the table by whomever is available to bring it (aka: bar staff, servers, food runners etc) and EVERY person who came to our table to perfectly describe the components of the dish and how to best enjoy it. Definitely a 'foodie' gem for Charlotte. Well done Bardo-we were thrilled to celebrate a friend's milestone birthday with you this week.

  Great atmosphere. Dark. Modern. Small. Crowded. Loud. Good cocktails. Beautifully plated tapas. Delicious food. Small portions. Pricey.

  Very impressed with Bardo. In town for the weekend, looking for nice late evening place for appetizers and drinks. Jayson and his staff were super. Every item we had was superb. Great atmosphere.

  Phenomenal! The food was outstanding. We had the whole menu and everything was simply amazing. The best Sweetbreads of my life. What really put our night over the top was the front of the house. Everyone who came to our table was knowledgeable of the menu and had a smile. An absolute class act!

  Probably my new favorite restaurant in Charlotte. Bardo has mastered plating beautifully in a contemporary manner that just impresses. We tried a slew of dishes, each had intricate and delicate flavor profiles that were distinct from the rest. The bartenders were masterful in their craft. The staff was welcoming and friends. The space was cozy and tasteful. The food was so delicious, this will be a regular destination. Wonderful!
