  This is a wonderful church where most everyone reaches out to make you feel comfortable and wanted. The choir sound great, but more importantly, they are actually worshipping when they sing, not giving a, convert. It is NOT all about them, but rather God.

  I have been living in NC for right at 4 years now. When my husband and I first moved here we lived in Thomasville NC and attended my in laws church in Winston Salem. It was a church I fell in love with. After we moved to Charlotte we didn't attend church on a regular basis since its an hour and a half drive. With in the last few weeks I have been feeling like something was missing in my life. That missing feeling was church on Sunday mornings and the word of Jesus. So I have spent the last few weeks looking for churches online. Then visiting different ones in the Charlotte area. A few of the ones I have visited have been ok but just not what I am looking for in a church to call MY church family. I don't like huge churches that have so many members that a visitor feels lost in a sea of strangers. I prefer a smaller bible based church. One where the preacher knows his congregation by names. Today I visited Trinty Baptist Church. I kinda got scared that the church wasn't what I was looking for. When I pulled in, I saw a building next door that resembled one of those LARGER churches. Just as I took a second look I realized it was a different church all together (sigh of relief). I proceeded and entered. I was immediately greeted by an elderly gentleman who welcomed me and directed me to the worship center. Upon sitting I again was greeted by another member. She explained that she was a Sunday School teacher in the church and extended an invitation for me to join class with her. Right as service was about to begin a husband and wife sat down next to me. The wife welcomed me to their church and service began. The preacher was standing in until the congregation is able to find a permanent preacher. Their older preacher just recently retired. After service was over, I was greeted by several other members extending invitations for me to return whenever I like. Invitations were extended to me to talk to someone about joining the covenant if I was looking for a church to call home. I truly enjoyed the service, the people and their hospitality. I walked out of different churches and never felt a warm homely feeling from them. This church actually felt like the church I so love in Winston Salem. I plan on returning to hear the word of God and hopefully begin the process of becoming a member of this small bible based church. It's everything I was looking for and more.
