I started working for Golden Heart Senior Care of Charlotte in 2013 as a CNA. I had worked with an independently owned Home Care Agency before, but this one is very different. Adam and Natalie both were and still are fully involved in the day to day operations and were in direct contact with the clients and their families. The thing I found the most admirable is that they got to know me and cared for me just like they did the families we work with. They have always carried the company with the idea that our caregivers are what make us so great, but it is also the heart of this company, them. I am now part of our management team and it has been nothing less of rewarding. I have worked with them for a such a long time because their values never change. To serve every family like we are serving our own, to always provide a helping hand, and to truly care about the work we do. This company works around the clock to ensure they are always providing the best quality and the quality people deserve. I have seen it, I have worked it, and I truly believe in what we do.
Golden Care staffed nighttime care for my wife, who has dementia. The caregivers were professional, related well with my wife and provided useful information to the upcoming care needed during daytime. The agency was reliable and kept me informed of upcoming staffing.
Golden Heart Has been a part of our family for 2 years. My husband has Parkinson's Disease. He participates in an exercise program at Rock Steady. I cannot drive him to his appointments without missing medical appointment of my own, so Golden Heart transports him. This arrangement is so very helpful for us because he can get away without depending on me, and I am freed up to run errands and go to my appointments. Thank you Golden Heart!
My mother fell and fractured her spine, and when she was released from rehab to come home, I was concerned about leaving her alone while I took my father to appointments. Golden Heart provided us with Andrea who came for 4 hours on two days per week. She is such a sweet and caring person! Andrea did some light cleaning for my mom, as well as made her lunch and made sure that she took her meds, and just generally sat and talked with her and provided companionship for the time that my father and I were out. We really loved her and the experience was great! My mother has recuperated pretty well and we no longer need Andrea on a scheduled basis every week, but we are glad that we can count on Golden Heart to help us on an as needed basis in the future.
Adam, Natalie, and his entire Golden Heart team are great to work with. They truly care about their patients, display professionalism and responsiveness with their services. Patient care and satisfaction always comes first to them.
My patients and family members have always raved to me about awesome Golden Heart and how wonderful the staff is. Golden Heart is about quality of care and not quantity of care when compared to other home care agencies!
