If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I saw Dr. Suffren for the first time a little over a week ago due to postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression. I have a history of anxiety and I have never in my life met someone as comforting and as smart as Dr. Suffren. She took her time to listen to me, encourage me and she also helped me understand WHY my body was feeling these things - something that nobody has ever taken the time to help me through. By the end of the appointment, I already felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders because I knew I was in good hands and found a doctor I will use forever. She is very knowledgeable with medications, as well which is huge when dealing with mental illness. I am not one to leave reviews but due to the amazing care I received, I had to tell the world! You are truly in the best hands with Dr. Suffren.
Dr. Suffren is one of the best psychiatrists I have known in my 25 year career as a Mental Health Counselor. Her knowledge and care for her patients is unmatched. I highly recommend her to any woman looking for a compassionate and brilliant psychiatrist.
I have been coming to Women’s Transitional Healthcare for over 5 years. I have found the staff and providers very polite, professional and accommodating. I would not entrust anyone else with my care. I appreciate the attention to details that this clinic administration provides and the wholesome and calming environment of the office.
I have been seeing Dr. Suffren regularly since October of 2014. She got us through the most difficult part, thus far, of my life. I firmly believe that Dr. Suffren saved my and our baby's life. We were not thriving to say the least. I am beyond thankful for her practice and the focus she places on the mental health of women and especially the Mom's out there struggling with hormonal and chemical imbalances. Thanks to her, we are in a good place now. I recently went back to school and am persuing a degree and future career. Something I couldn't have even imagined when I first met her. Though stable now, I continue to see her for her down-to-earth practical wisdom. She helps me to keep things in perspective. I only wish there were more doctors like her out there with a focus on the transitional phases that women face and the tolls these take on our bodies and families. I trust her and have recommended many of my friends to her. ❤
