(March 23, 2020, 9:08 am)Got a local company that relies on the local PD to stop traffic for semis backing off a main st.
The company that uses them is a joke, but the two police officers that came out on two occasions to stop traffic so I didn't unnecessarily risk my job and CDL were great. -

(October 8, 2018, 3:36 pm)I don't have many run-ins with the law but I am thankful that I had this particular one. Officer Paugh (sorry if the spelling is not correct) was in the right place at the right time even in the tiniest way. Although I ruined his great hiding spot, I managed to get a bolt in my tire and didn't make it very far in my attempt to get my vehicle to a shop for repairs. Without hesitation, Officer Paugh blocked traffic to ensure I could safely pull-off to the side of the road in order to change my tire (which happen to be one of the most difficult tires to change). Officer Paugh took the time to change my tire and make sure I was safe to drive off. Thanks for everything you do...even the little things.

(August 9, 2017, 7:51 pm)Hi, My name is Mikayla LeGrande and this morning three officers from the Matthews Police Department helped my brother and I fix a spare tire. I just wanted to take the time and thank all three of them and if it wasn't for them I probably would have been waiting for triple A all day. My family just wanted to make sure they know we are truly thankful and truly blessed that they were there to help us.
