Mi Escuelita Spanish Immersion Preschool

Loved the experience. Our three children went to other five-star day care centers, but when we enrolled our third child to Mi Escuelita we immediately realized how much we had missed. Our son attended Mi Escuelita for over a year before going to kindergarten. From the beginning he loved the school and the teachers. My wife and I were amazed with the difference between those other centers and Mi Escuelita. All teachers and staff constantly displayed love, care and enthusiasm while caring for our child, every day, all the time! You could see the motivation and feel the warmth, whether in the morning at drop-off time or at the end of the day.
We also noticed a very fluid and sincere communication between parents and teachers and definitely between teachers and children. It was very interesting and amazing to see how teachers and children interacted an communicated in Spanish.
I should also emphasize that in addition to the Spanish, our son acquired skills in reading/writing and in math that prepared him well for kindergarten.
Overall, our experience with Mi Escuelita was wonderful, If we were to choose again, we would pick Mi Escuelita without hesitation.

My three children attended Mi Escuelita for over 6 years, one after the other (some years two of them were there together). What sets Mi Escuelita apart from other full-time preschool / day care centers is the quality of its staff: the teachers are loving, nurturing, highly educated, and fully bilingual. All of the staff speak Spanish as their primary language, and many were prominent educators in their native countries before coming to the U.S. Their attention to detail, patience, and devotion to the children are evident every single day with every child! In addition, the overall atmosphere at the school is like one big family: many of our dearest friends in town are the other families we met during our time at Mi Escuelita. And finally, Mi Escuelita prepared all 3 of my children for successful transitions to kindergarten. Two are now thriving students at a nearby dual language elementary school. Mi Escuelita is (in my opinion) the best preschool / day care center in town!

Both of our kids have attended Mi Escuelita. Our youngest is still there and loves it. Our oldest has moved on to the dual language immersion program at Frank Porter Graham, but is always eager to return and see his teachers at Mi Escuelita. One remarkable thing about the school is how long most of the teachers have been there and how highly qualified and experienced they are. They are true professionals who are devoted to what they do and they create a wonderful, caring environment for the kids. Based on our experience, they also prepare kids incredibly well for kindergarten and elementary school. I couldn't recommend a preschool more highly than Mi Escuelita.

Mi Escuelita is a great preschool! Our oldest daughter completed 4 years there and now our second daughter is into her second year - both know Spanish quite well. What we love most about Mi Escuelita is the warmth of the staff; our kids are loved and doted upon as much as they are at home! All of the teachers have been there for a long time, so it's a very safe and stable environment. The staff is not merely a collection of quality nurturers, they are highly qualified academically too. Great school!

Our daughter has attended Mi Escuelita for about 15 months and we couldn't be happier. No Spanish is spoken in our home, but she took to the language without any trouble and we're really excited that she's growing up bilingual. The teachers are very dedicated, affectionate, and caring. They really engage with the children to make sure everyone has fun while also learning good manners and developing new skills. Highly recommend it!
