  This is a spiritual filled House Of Worship. Pastor Millie Jordan , Minister Nicole Spencer and and the Riddick Grove MBC family members really know how to give true praise to our Lord and Savior. You can't help but feel the spiritual Love from these God fearing people of our most High God. My wife and I Love each visit we've had to Riddick Grove MBC. The Favor of God is upon this place and the Leadership of this branch of Zion. THEY REALLY GOT IT GOING ON. Amen

  From my grandma's journal March 8, 1981
  My grandmother wrote about my grandpa as a black soul sav'n preacher! They had been visiting Rev. Moore for months. The mission president wanted Harold and Anna to have Rev. Moore invite Rev. Moore to preach to his congregants the message of the restoration and invite them all to follow him into the waters of baptism. That didn't happen as of yet... to this point in the journal, but it is a step in that direction. They would have established an immediate ward had it happened; an all African American ward.

  "We left at 11:00 and went to Rev. Moore’s Church in Belvidere (Riddick Grove Church, black) It was quite an experience – we were surely welcomed. I saw Mrs. Moore outside and went along with her. They had Harold sit on the Stand and had him read the Scriptures – Romans 9 – and at the end of the meeting he let Harold speak – he gave some scriptures It was really different – they had a choir that sang very loud – the piano player played loud with a beat to his music – the congregation sang loud with the choir – while the prayers and the Sermon were going on – people would say “Yes Jesus – Hallelujah – that’s alright etc). They passed the plate once and close to the end they got up one row at a time and walked around the front and left money on the table. When Rev. Moore gave the Sermon he put on quite a show – walking from one end of the stand to the other end – shouting to the top of his voice – using his arms and body – it was really something – shouting to the audience – “Do you know Jesus?” and they all called back “Yes” etc. He really worked up a sweat and it went on for some time. "
