Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Campground Asheboro NC

Loved, Loved Loved it!! Brought back childhood memories. Campground an facilities are immaculate ! Everyone is super pleasant in office. So many activities.... laser tag, huge playground pool looks well kept (closed for winter, ), ping pong, huge jumping thing. Close to the zoo. They have propane on site to refill tanks, large sites, golf cart trails, adding a water park area. Owner is amazing! Shower facilities were wonderful. Just need more laundry facilities and a dog park, but sure those will come with time. Stayed here 9 days and loved it. Coming back in June!! Can't wait!

We had a great time. We booked this campground because it was close to the zoo. Less than a 5 min drive and super convenient to town. We checked in after hours and found it super easy and instructions were clear. You'll need to be careful if you arrive after dark, there is very little lighting on the sites and throughout the campground itself which can make navigating at night hard.

The kids should bring bikes - the campground is all gravel but bikes tend to work well. They have great trails to ride bikes or the golf carts on. We rented a golf cart and had a great time riding all the trails. The bathhouse was clean and easy to access. They have great tent sites and some cabins to take advantage of if you don't have a camper.

There are some nice upgrades happening right now as of 10/2022 so the wifi was not all that great but not a deterrent for us. They also had no cable on the site we were on but our camper antenna was sufficient for the little TV we watched. We've already booked our next trip.

Almost didn’t choose this location due to previous reviews but very glad we did! Awesome campground with lots of fun activities and amenities for kids! Great pool with a slide, jump pad, park, awesome laser tag, Yogi bear visits, and tons of trails to do family bike rides or you can rent a golf cart and take them on the trail too! Met great people here, and had a super fun week! Also, only 5min drive to NC Zoo and if you book a week at Jellystone they give you free passes! Stayed in the Hidden Pond section, it’s private but also short walk to the pool and laser tag! And it’s better than the pics they show online… stayed in 226 and 216!

This is my third time returning to this campground and I have to say I am blown away each time with all the improvements! The Laser Tag is undeniably the coolest thing for people of all ages and the people running it are so patient and kind. Even though we were there during very hot weather, the pool never felt over crowded. Renting the golf cart made it so easy to explore the undeveloped parts of the grounds. Fun to think of what they are still going to do! Thank you for adding a coffee bar in the store! The cabin we stayed in was amazing. To have 3 pillows to chose from to find one I like, was incredible for a campground. And the AC was a real life saver in the incredible heat. Having wifi available at a campground is nice (albeit challenging at times), even though we found that we really don't need it since we are, after all, camping. We were outside all the time! We had everything we needed for an amazing week of camping. THANK YOU! We will be back.
