Phil Morgan Pottery

Phil Morgan is one of a kind making art that people fight over in divorce. I was very fortunate to be able to spend an extended amount of time meeting and talking with Phil about his work and his life the people he’s met the people that have purchased his pieces ,the dignitaries own his pieces.The presidents that own his pieces, the musicians that I’ve been to his parties around his kiln. I hope his Son follows in his footsteps and doesn’t let his art die off. I am very proud to also own his work. When I left his shop I definitely left with an education and a deeper love and respect for what Phil and other pottery masters do.

It's an honor to meet Phil Morgan a true craftsman and innovator who was one of the first to do crystalline pottery and has stayed true to the art of it without any shortcuts. His pieces are beautiful and I am very happy to own several pieces.

It was a sincere pleasure spending time with you today Mr. Morgan and viewing all your incredible works, as I have been a longtime fan. There maybe other potter's that do Crystalline pottery but there is ONLY (1) original and that's Phil Morgan. If your a collector his pottery is a MUST have in your collection. For the ones who say there are "others that do Crystalline" Phil Morgan is in ALL of the pottery books, you can say he co-authored the book along with the infamous Ben Owen(the original). These two potters are the most valued of pottery to collect.
