Fabric Menagerie of Mt Airy

I had the best time there today. The fabrics were beautiful and the prices were amazing. I bought 6 yards of fabric…3 different colors. I am kicking myself that I didn’t buy more. The sweet lady told me she was 92. I was shocked and inspired that age is just a number. I just begged the hubby to go back on our return trip home.

OMG, such great deals here!! The store is run by this little lady who you would never know is in her 90's and her daughter!! Great finds in material and threads!!! I bought many spools of thread at $4/lb ($10 for all the thread in the picture!) and yards of material for quilts for Project Linus!! If you sew or quilt you need to go there as they have fantastic buys!! We'll be back the next time in NC !!!

Very cool locally owned shop! All sorts of fabrics and associated materials. Good spot for locally crafted cotton masks. The owner is a lovely woman who clearly loves what she does!

I used this store for clothing alterations and also had curtains made to fit for under my kitchen counter. I brought my own fabric that I bought off Etsy. The lady that did my work is named, Edith and I must say that she does top-notch, high quality stitching. My clothing alterations were spot on and her daughter , she told me, actually made my curtains and they are stitched and pressed to perfection. Very fair prices.
