Earle Theatre

Loved the blue grass concert. Then, we went back that night to see the new Antman movie. How often do you get to watch a new movie in an iconic theater. We sat in the balcony just to do it. We heard people eating popcorn behind us and talking, but we looked behind us, and no one else was up there but us! Any, it was great!!! Guys working the front were super nice and the place was clean.

The Earle Theatre is nice for bringing families. It is a quiet atmosphere and less crowded than most theatres.

Attended with my wife, kids, and mother to see Lyle Lyle Crocodile. Theater is historic so its a bit smaller and offers less than your average theater. However, the smaller crowd is a significant draw to enjoying a show here. They offer events other than movie showings and displayed date listings on the front of the building. The movie played without any video or audio issues and id gladly visit again. I only rated at 4 stars simply because of the attendants off putting demeanor. It was exactly unfriendly but i didnt feel welcomed either. I hope the gentleman was only having a bad day.

This place is wonderful to go to on the weekend when they are playing bluegrass music on stage, and it's live on WPAQ radio. Really fun and interesting.

Love this place. It brought back so many childhood memories. They play old movies and on certain nights there is live music. This is in connection to the Andy Griffin Museum. The popcorn machine in one of the pictures really works.
