  Linda was an absolute delight. She and her husband were so welcoming. She was easy to talk to and we easily got lost in conversation. The home was comfortable and clean. We stayed in the Picasso. Really loved the bed and linens. She made dinner for us the first night and it was wonderful. I’m OBSESSED with her biscuits. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Her Dutch baby pancakes are awesome! Inspired me to purchase a few pans of my own to experiment. The Vermeer is super close to down town. Can’t wait to come back in April for our anniversary.

  I would highly recommend The Vermeer Bed & Breakfast for your visit to Mt Airy. Linda and Elbert were very welcoming, their home was immaculate and beautifully decorated. When we arrived Linda gave us a tour of the bottom story which included the sitting room, dining room, and her husbands art room, then upstairs to our beautiful room. Our room was spacious with a king bed, two comfy side chairs, dresser and plenty of lighting. The bathroom had a shower and a claw tub, and the softest towels ever. The breakfasts were out of this world. We loved it so much we extended our stay another day. The best!

  What a wonderful experience. Linda and Elbert are the best. Went to celebrate my 50th birthday and they were even kind enough to give me a birthday card. The Picasso room was amazing and the whole house is just magnificent. The breakfast was over the top good. Such a plethora of flavor and goodness. Could not ask for a better stay. Thank you folks for a wonderful stay.

  Linda and Elbert Schubert are genuine, committed to ensuring your visit be a pleasurable relaxing time, making a memory, and wishing you had more time to stay longer.
  The private room and amminities were very relaxing, clean, and well maintained.
  The property is secure, spacious, quiet, and well landscaped, so spend some time to enjoy the front porch.
  Each morning enjoy a different bountiful breakfast that will delight the start of your day. Yum.
  
  Elbert is also an accomplished portrait and landscape artist, and the house is full of his works as well as other works he and Linda admire.
  
  We know you will be pleased.

  My wife and I stayed here recently in the Picasso room. The room was very clean and well taken care of. The host was very welcoming and knew everything going on in the area. She recommended some wonderful hiking trails and suggestions for wineries. The breakfast she provided was delicious. Honestly the best host I have ever had of all the B&B’s I have stayed at.
