  Professor Gabriel is an active world class competitor that translate his knowledge into dynamic and detailed oriented classes. His very approachable personality and experience in Jiu Jitsu makes him an amazing instructor. If you live around that area don't doubt in joining.

  5 stars is not enough rating to give to this amazing school. They deserve a lot more than that!
  We just recently moved to North Carolina and so happy to find ZR Team Apex as my kids new jujitsu school and meet Professor Gabriel Sousa as my kids new Professor! He is such an inspiration to my kids, they really look up to him as an instructor, a competitor and a role model. My kids look forward to class and learning from the best! You will get top notch instruction from Professor Gabriel and the other instructors here. Everyone is so welcoming and we felt like we've been part of the family since Day 1. Highly recommend this school! Happy to be part of ZR team family!

  This is a great family oriented Jiu-Jitsu gym. Professor Gabriel is an excellent instructor. He teaches great technique in a relaxed, fun environment. He often has students and instructors from other ZR Teams around the world at his gym to cross train. All in all a really good experience and great place to learn Jiu-Jitsu.

  Top tier BJJ studio. I've trained at two other studios in the past, but this spot, led by Professor Gabriel Sousa is on another level thanks to the professionalism, love for the sport, and technical mastery of the students, teacher and assistant teachers. Prof. Sousa's credentials reflect the dedication he has to the sport and the studio. Highly recommended.

  Gabriel Sousa is not only a world class competitor but also a world class instructor. He personally teaches every class and tailors the classes to the students needs. He approaches his teaching with incredible knowledge; with the technical details and class structure that enables everyone to learn.
  
  The classes are extremely friendly and have a fundamental sense of community. One of the best places to train in NC!
