Taqueria la Esquina

Wow! Wow is all I can say every time I eat here, this spot is the perfect example of why you never judge a book by its cover. This place has some amazing food they are putting in their fresh hand made tortillas, that are literally being made in front if you while you order. I have been back several times now and will continue to do so anytime near rdu!

This isn't a food place in a gas station. It's an awesome restaurant that happens to sell gas. You won't be disappointed.

Before you judge this place for being inside of a gas station, just know that this is the ONLY taqueria in this entire area (probably the whole state) that has the friendliest staff, the fastest service, and some of the most mouth-watering, tender/cooked to perfection, smack your momma good, barbacoa. It is bar none. You would have to drive to Mexico/Texas to find better barbacoa because it does not exist outside of Taqueria La Esquina. This is one of those places where, if you know, you know. And they use real peppers in their salsa, because the spice levels vary day to day (as real life chilies would because not every single batch of pepper has the same spice level), making the whole experience that much better 🤤

I moved to Morrisville from Dallas Texas October 2020 and I have finally found a taqueria that has excellent food , very clean kitchen and smiling staff!!!!!
