  I had an unplanned trip to Raleigh to transport a dog back to his owner who had recently recovered from a surgery. During this time of Covid, I was truly blessed to stumble upon The Store. John is the most gracious host and his place is spectacular. From the very moment I arrived, the bacterial wipes were by the door, the place was spotless, well sanitized and I felt safe. The rooms are well appointed, spacious, stocked with all the comforts of home and more. The house is filled with art and beauty and in this extremely stressful time, this little oasis allows you to breathe again. I cannot wait to fully experience all the neighborhood and surrounding area has to offer... restaurants, shopping and dining all well within walking distance. I enjoyed the beautiful park around the corner and my short stay was filled with gratitude from meeting a new friend and sharing this exquisite home for a short break. Thank you John and Baz! Looking forward to seeing you again.

  My brother's wife stayed here during their wedding, and we had the rehearsal dinner here. It was fantastic. I really enjoyed the owner taking time to show us around and let us pick cucumbers right off the vine and chow down. Architecture is beautiful, and the furniture sets the mood perfectly. Will stop again in the future for a visit!

  I wanted a unique and comfortable place to stay while visiting family for the weekend. I found The Store online and could not have been happier with the stay. The location is excellent within walking distance to many places and a short Uber ride to other things nearby. The house was beautiful, modern, and chic yet comfortable. John was an incredible host with excellent communication booking the stay and on arrival. He was so hospitable and everything you could want was thought of in the guest room. Abundant towels, toiletries, waters, coffee, tea, snacks, etc. The bed was high quality and super comfy. Definitely will return The Store and highly recommend staying here.

  We held a day long meeting at The Store and the layout and facilities were outstanding. Thanks to John for being a great host and we would not hesitate to meet there again.

  We stayed here for one night for a wedding. It was beautiful inside. Jon was super helpful and was very hospitable. It was honestly the perfect place to stay. The private bathroom was perfect and the bed was super comfortable. I wish I could give this place like 10 stars. We will be back if we ever need a place to stay again in Raleigh. Also his dog made it extra special for us fellow dog lovers. Super cute and sweet!
