I have dealt with “treatment resistant” depression for 43 years and have lots of difficulties with side effects of medications. My previous psychiatrist prescribed a medication that worked long enough for me to become physically “addicted” to it…. Then caused horrible side effects…….then caused severe anxiety and depression. when I cried and begged for help, that Psychiatrst referred me to a neurologist and fired me from his practice. I can’t explain how desperate I was for help. The neurology was able to start another medication to ease the side effects and to help me begin the painful process of weaning the original medication. Even though DrWeisler was not accepting new patients at the time, he listened to my story and agreed to help me. He literally saved my life. He is brilliant, knows his neuropsychiatry, knows his drugs and their mechanisms of action AND has a good bedside manner. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to have him working with me against Depression.

My experience with Dr. Weisler has always been nothing but positive. I am a person that is very nervous and mental health can really be a problem at times. He and his staff always treat me with kindness and understanding. It starts at the receptionist area and ends with seeing the doctor and sometimes even management when I have a problem with my payments. This team of individuals truly care about the mental health and wellbeing of their patients !!!

I feel compelled to write a review for Dr. Weisler. I have been in his practice long enough to know that without his guidance and support I would not be as stable as I am today. It has been a great experience over the past 20years and I have benefited from the therapy and medication management that has allowed me to return to some sense of balance in my life. I know that if it was not for him and the rest of the team, I would not be in the place that I am in today.
