Wakefield Family Medicine - Dr. Octavian Belcea

Dr Belcea spends a good enough time with me and genuinely cares about my health. He keeps himself open to my other holistic doctors' suggestions and include his own proven, preventive and holistic approach. I love him dearly and I am so honored to be one of his patients. He is the best doctor in the world for me!

Dr. Belcea is the best doctor around. He truly cares about his patients, and he stays on top of the latest medical research. He takes time to answer my questions and even asks, as my appointment is concluding, whether I have any other questions. Appointments never ever feel rushed. Most other doctors try to run out the door and end the appointment before you have even had a chance to speak. Dr. Belcea does NOT have the big doctor ego, which seems all too common in most doctors. He also is open to alternative treatments. It gives me peace of mind that my membership gives me his cell number in case of an emergency.

At first, I wasn't sure whether I'd want to spend the money to be a concierge member, but my membership has been well worth it. The membership gives me more time with Dr. Belcea, and I never feel rushed there. Dr. Belcea has helped me work through some complex health problems, and I am so thankful for him and for his wonderful staff. I also love that the office is very family friendly, and everyone is always so sweet to my kids. (And, in response to the reviewers who are negative about the concierge model: I think those reviews are unfair. This is not a practice for "elite" people. Our medical system is messed up, and the concierge model has allowed Dr. Belcea to practice medicine the way it should be practiced.)

Dr. Belcea has been my Doctor for 11 years. He is the most caring health care practitioner I have ever been to. I joined his Concierge Service as soon as it became available. One receives MUCH more than a memory stick as another reviewer described. As someone with significant health issues, Dr. Belcea manages all my health care issues and coordinates with specialists. His wonderful nurses often call just to check on me. I cannot give this practice high enough praise. Along with excellent medical care, this office makes me feel at ease and treat me with kindness, dignity and compassion.

Have been going to this practice for twelve (12) years and have never had an unpleasant experience. All of my family members go to this practice. I never have a problem getting an appointment. Dr. Belcea genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to listen. Listening skills are more precious than gold! Dr. Belcea is a physician that is an asset to the medical profession. The other reviews that I have read on this site refer to office staff and wait times. Getting your blood drawn is not like going to the McDonald's drive through. There are procedures and policies to be followed. I do not mind waiting because I know that procedures and policies are followed and that I can count on my labs not being hemolyzed so I will not have to come back and repeat the process. The office staff are very cordial and accommodating. Dr. Belcea does ask his patients how they get along with his office staff. If there is a problem with the office staff and there are complaints, it is dealt with promptly. There are cameras in the front office so I am quite sure if a staff member is not behaving appropriately, it will be caught on the cameras. This practice is always coming up with new innovative ideas to serve their patients. I highly recommend this practice and could not be more pleased.
