Wow. Wow. Wow. They let us in right before closing and we had the whole place to ourselves. We got treated like VIP's. Usually if a place is closing we don't stick around because the service takes a hit but that was not the case at this point. The food was spectacular. We ordered a little bit of everything and took some home with us.. Will definitely be back here in the future. Included a photo of our receipt . Our cashier spoke English but it's always fun to practice Spanish. It there are a lot of take out orders and the staff seem to have them flying out of the kitchen. Definitely recommend the Tilapia, the arepa and the beef yaroa with sweet potato..... ***UPDATE*** They are adding an out door pavilion area with gazebo. In about a month, this would be a wonderful place for a romantic date night. I've also added a new coffee shop on site. They have a sandwich and coffee special special that is a nice deal for those on their lunch hour.
Man today I ate here for the first time with my son FOOD WAS AMAZINGLY GOOD !! I highly recommend to anyone when u in the city and u hungry it’s homemade goodness for the soul!!!
Best Dominican food in the area. Reminds you of that good home cooking. So much flavor
First went here about a year ago for a traditional dominican live music party and fell in love with the place. They have a vast menu and the food tastes great, just like my mom made. The atmosphere is great. The Dominican music is on but still letting me here my wife with our indoor voices. The staff was friendly and eager to please us. If you stay and dine in, they serve your food on cool miniature pots for soups (ask for sancocho on Sundays great for my hangovers). I definitely am now a regular at this joint. Also ask about their flan my wife is born and raised in Dominican Republic and says its just like the one from home.
