Well thought out, detailed preschool age program with native speakers providing a great immersion. They have been exemplary with masking and social distancing while also providing a fun learning environment. The outdoor garden and play areas are also lovingly maintained and our children (neither native Spanish speakers) love it! Also have great summer programs, after school programs, etc.

My son is just completing his first year in children’s house and has had a wonderful experience. The playground and garden area are what first attracted us to the school. The faculty and staff have made us want to stay forever! They are nurturing and engaged. The environment is exactly what we wanted for our child. He has grown in confidence, independence, and social skills. His teacher is truly invested in his well being. We couldn’t ask for more.

The school is beautiful and the teachers are very loving and kind. We found this school because we were looking for Spanish immersion, not for the Montessori method. When I toured the school, the children were busy with their "work" and they were so quiet and focused. It actually put me off at first because I felt like preschoolers should be laughing and singing. I'm so glad we stayed with Maracas. The children sing all the time and they are so happy and calm at the end of their day. Also, the Montessori method NEVER ceases to surprise me with the things my child learns.

Maracas is a wonderful school with superior management-- Claudia and her family pour their hearts into each tiny detail, which makes the school a very special place for our son (and all the children). The Montessori guides are tender and caring towards the children and genuinely support their learning and confidence. We've attended parent workshops and participated in a number of volunteer opportunities and we always feel welcomed. The Spanish language is a fantastic bonus! We are an English speaking household and our two year old son already has equal vocabulary in English and Spanish, with comprehension of both languages. How cool is that?!
