We have a two year old German Shepherd and he is a “Covid Puppy”. Which means he spent all his time at home with us. He didn’t meet other people or dogs. Additionally, if you know anything about German Shepherds, they are very protective of their owners. As a result, our fur baby had serious stranger and dog anxiety.

We avoided taking him for walks because of his what appeared to be aggressive behavior and would cringe when the doorbell would ring because we knew the barking and jumping routine was about to begin.

That was until we started working with Mark, the head trainer at Audrey’s. He helped us understand not only why our fur baby was acting a certain way but modeled for us how we could positively alter his behavior. With Mark‘s leadership and training expertise, together we addressed each behavior our fur baby exhibited one step at a time.

I’ve included pictures of Mark training our fur baby (he’s the short hair shepherd). In a one hour session with Mark, our fur baby went from not being able to pass the other male shepherd pictured on a walking path without barking and lunging…to friends for life!

Recently boarded our dogs at Audrey's and we were completely satisfied! I loved watching them play on the webcam. We got them exit baths before they left and days later our dogs are still smelling so clean! I can always tell our pups have a great time because they sleep a lot after spending some time at Audrey's! I love all the love the staff gives to the dogs and would highly recommend!

Riley enjoys his doggie spaw day and he smells so good! I tend to get the deshed treatment and he looks amazing afterwards. He is so soft and handsome. The staff are kind and gentle and provide you with a spaw day report card of your dog’s experience! 💙🐾

So here’s the deal. The people here are great. Jess at front desk is great. Sarah who I think is over grooming is great too. I understand my dog can be very difficult which I warned them of and told them if he doesn’t let them groom him don’t even bother because previously he’s had the same groomer for awhile. Groom did not go as I expected and he was quite uneven, when I inquired they blamed it on my dog which is fair and I understand because he can be difficult with new people but it still didn’t sit great with me, especially since I warned them of what he’s like (what groomer or even hair stylist do you know that is going to admit they didn’t do a great job though). No worries hair grows back just unfortunate that it cost me $120 my preference would’ve been to not even do the groom in the beginning. To Sarah credit she acknowledged that they weren’t best equipped to handle my dog because of the anxiety and gave me an excellent referral which I appreciated. Additionally, I boarded him for a total of 7 days which cost around $450 and he now has a sneeze that he cannot get rid of which is annoying. I’m going to take him to the vet and find out what they say, but he didn’t have it prior to going in so not sure what that’s about. Great people and would recommend them highly for a traditional dog, but any dog with special needs would have to think about.

This review is for the grooming service. 10/10 recommend. We got lucky with a last minute appointment before Christmas. She was only there for two hours. I’m used to her being gone for long periods with other groomers and that’s ruff for the both of us. Her nails actually seemed like they shaved em down. Other places they don’t seem to make a dent. Very happy with what I got for the price.
