Heritage Middle School

This is a great school to go to. Most of the teachers seem really nice, and they all seem to care about their students. There are lots of fun clubs to join. Gym class is cool. I also really like how each grade’s hallway has a different color.

I've been in the Heritage School System for nine years now, so I think that I'm absolutely qualified to say that it is a great school. I made friends with several people at the elementary school, and have been fortunate enough to experience middle school with them. But Heritage isn't just your average Wake County middle school. Yes, there's a fair amount of cursing between its halls; and yes, those looking to create drama will find it among a few students; and yes, if your child doesn't work hard then they will fall behind and do poorly (be warned: the teacher has no say in your child's work ethic, and blaming a lack of effort on an educator is simply futile). However, in two months I'll be leaving this school with nothing but memories of happiness and support, from my friends, teachers, and family. My experience at this school was by no means average. I had my mother as my teacher (would 10/10 recommend it), and participated in The Science Olympiad for three straight years (and won a few medals along the way); but in a way, no one person's experience here is average, they're all unique and special. This school is awesome, and at the end of the day... that's it, it's just simply awesome.

See Mr. Mannette for more details, but I had a great time, and I'm sure they would too if they're even remotely interested in Science and Engineering. If you're a student at Heritage... well, you know what to do :D

We have expirenced the best transition at HMS. The open house earlier as fifth graders and the open house the week before school started had our sixth grader informed and ready to walk through the doors in confidence. Thanks for the start of a new school year. We loved the students in the halls available for questions. They were great.

The teachers are super helpful all of the students are very kind. This school has an overall postive atmosphere that you can feel as soon as you walk into the school.

I went to school here for one year in 8th grade and had a great experience. I was on track 2 and I just have to say the teachers were amazing. They really care about giving kids a good education and making them interested in the subjects.
