  I am a very proud owner of a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Diesel. I recently bought a platinum detailing package from Eddie at Thompson Automotive Reconditioning. My experience from drop off to pick up was world class. Eddie is all about explaining what your package entails and when it can be expected to be completed. When I pulled up to pick up my truck all I could do was look at it in awe. The first thing my wife said was the color looked so deep it looked like new! Water is beading up and just melting away (check out the pic I attached). Washing time has been cut in half! The inside is no different. Eddie made the inside look better than new in fact. Not only was it cleaned with an attention to detail that I haven't seen in any other car detail shop I've ever used, but it was treated and protected with an array of specific, professional products Eddie is trained to use - just like the exterior. Like the other reviewers to date, I highly recommend Thompson Automotive Reconditioning and I'll certainly be a repeat customer.

  Did a great job! The quality of the work was excellent, and Eddie is super thorough and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain exactly what he did and when I got my car back it was spotless. It literally looked like I had just bought it! I was very happy with this service and would definitely recommend it.

  For those who do not like to read long reviews stop after the next sentence. The work that Eddie (proprietor) does is top notch and if you are considering having your vehicle detailed then schedule an appointment ASAP; you will NOT be disappointed!
  
  Now, for those who want the details, continue reading for the inside scoop.
  
  I have a 2019 VW Jetta that I bought back in December last year. I know, I know, new cars come looking good. Well that is true, however, the reason I went to Ed was to protect my investment. I had him do the full package, top to bottom, inside and out. I said to him that I wanted everything he had to protect my new car and to keep it looking good.
  
  I set up an appointment at the beginning of February and the week leading up to my appointment I was super excited! I had spoken at length with Ed regarding the process and the types of products he would be applying to my vehicle. He was extremely thorough and detailed in his explanation so that I would have a better understanding the scope of work necessary to fulfill my requests.
  
  I pulled up and he was there, waiting to greet me with a smile and instructed me where to move my vehicle and we proceeded straight away. He conducted a full vehicle inspection with me so that he and I could identify potential problem areas and areas that may have required extra attention to detail.
  
  Earlier I mentioned he was detailed and let me assure you that Ed is just that! He started with the inside with a vacuum and detailed wipe down then moved to steam and protective applicants for the dash before moving to the exterior of the vehicle. This is where most of the real work began.
  
  In the short time that I had owned the vehicle I had managed to get mineral deposits in my paint among other nasty little things from a lot of highway driving. Ed went through a multi step process to remove the surface dirt, then the mineral deposits and any residual chemical coatings that had been on the car previously. He went over every inch of that car meticulously. Not just like he was going through the motions but so that I could see the pride he takes in his work.
  
  Once the painted areas were cleaned the car was waxed, the windows wiped and the tires shined. I thought I loved my car when it was sitting on the dealers lot but after seeing it shine with the sun glinting of the paint it was like truly seeing it for the first time! He did such an amazing job I'm still in awe.
  
  It has now been about 7 weeks since Ed worked his magic on my Jetta and I wanted to comment on quality of his work after some time had passed.
  
  1.) The wax on the body is still beading water like it was new. every couple of weeks i just hose it down and watch the dirt and grime from the road and weather just roll off the car. I was grateful I had my car detail when I did because the following week I got tar on my car from some road work in my area. The tar washed away as simply as a light coat of dust!
  
  2.) The shine product he used on my tires lasted a solid 2 weeks before starting to fade to that dry grey color.
  
  3.) the interior of the car had this clean, non-chemical smell for about 4 weeks after cleaning, which i much prefer over perfumed products.
  
  4.) I have had numerous people approach me to comment on the appearance to the car and even had some passengers remark at how clean the car was. They couldn't believe it!
  
  Bottom line, if you are looking for someone to car for your car as much as you do, someone who is knowledgeable about the products and processes he uses and someone who is detail oriented and takes pride in his work, Eddie Thompson is the man you should go see. The entire experience from start to finish was very professionally handled and his services are expertly executed. I would recommend that you make your appointment sooner rather than later because he is going to stay busy!

  I own a 2001 Dodge Viper RT/10, a vehicle that I cherish as both my baby and an investment. I am very particular about whom I trust to wash my vehicle to the point where I typically just wash it myself. I couldn't get to my vehicle for quite a while and it desperately needed to be detailed. After much researching and reviewing, I went with Eddie at Thompson Automotive Reconditioning. He made me feel comfortable from the beginning, gave clear up-front pricing, and described in great detail each step he was going to take. He also assured me by requesting to show him around all the nooks, crannies, and trouble spots I usually struggle with. All I can say is HE NAILED IT! Every bit of trapped dust from deep in the dashboard vents, the leather stitching of the sears, under the hood in all the nooks of the engine where dirt collects, the weather stripping of the trunk, etc. Nothing was missed. He reconditioned my weather-exposed leather seats to a brand-new buttery finish and even scraped off window sticker residue at my particular request. Finally, the wax finish is AMAZING! No water spots, no faded out wax streaks, just a perfectly balanced shine. I love watching rain drops just ball up and roll right off my vehicle. Thank you Eddie! I'll definitely bring my vehicle back!

  The website underestimates the premium quality of work that was performed on my vehicle. My car looks and feels like new. Eddie pays close attention to ALL the details, he is a perfectionist, as the end result reflects. Highly recommend, you're in for a treat!!
