Hayesville Opera House

Love that place. Watching new movies in a old theater makes me feel like a kid again.

A great place to watch movies! I’ve came here most of my life and it’s an experience like no other. I’ve made a lot of memories I will cherish forever here

Not gonna lie, wasn't expecting much and was blown away. It's not one of the big fancy movie theaters but it held its on and I will be back to watch more movies there.

Very cozy, although a warning, if you are a big person or older, you may find the wooden seats uncomfortable. I'm a size 18 in womens and I fit fine, but my mother was very unhappy with them. However, seat cushions are available.

The snacks are VERY cheap. I believe it was a dollar for a can of pop? We got candy, two 20oz pops, and two large bags of popcorn for $8. The tickets were only $5.

At this showing, the closed captions were on, and we were told someone in the audience was hard of hearing. This actually was fantastic, as I have trouble processing speech and my fiancé is slightly HoH. I do understand this bothers some viewers however, so you may want to consider that.

Only other thing to add is that this old, historical opera house feels kind of haunted, but you know, don't they all?

We love the Hayesville Opera House! Great little place to catch a movie and beforehand you can have pizza, subs or ice cream at the Village Point across the street!
