Really nice trails, heavily shaded, and there were several side trails to see the creek from the Trillium trail. It seemed a bit heavy on bugs compared to other trails I've walked; I stopped to watch a butterfly for a few minutes and got multiple mosquito bites, and I regularly walked through some spider web that spanned across the trail.
Our first time visiting this park. We loved it. Beautiful, nice, and quiet little park. Nice trails that go down by the water. We will definitely be visiting this park more often.
My family really enjoyed hiking the Trillium Trail together. There is access to the creek along the trail where our children got to play in the water and explore the rocks. There is a really fun playground here complete with a rope bridge, spider web, and a spinning web. There is a shelter here with an in ground grill. Plenty of parking and plenty of space to move around. I highly recommend bringing the entire family.
Pretty little 1.5 mile loop. Some elevation on the trail going down to the creek, but nothing too terrible, steps are in okay condition. Patches of conifers along the way was neat to see in mostly deciduous Ohio! As someone else mentioned, there are two parking areas on opposite sides of the creek. This is the side with the trail, and the other side has easier access to the creek.
