Thanks to a wonderful friend who introduced me into the world of scrapbooking, I learned about Maplebrook Memories Retreat. Being stuck in a city due to a job, annually I look forward to coming here with my friends and networking with other talented crafters in a beautiful country setting. Amy is a nice caring woman and has made me feel welcome. This is my gift to myself that I look forward annually. Thank you for creating a lovely accommodating serene crafting environment.
Myself and 5 friends stayed the weekend with Amy and had a wonderful time. The food was great, the little shop was perfect and there were more snacks than we could eat. The rooms were comfortable and she really thought of the extra details. We will be back.
Update: 9/12/19, we have been back several times and it's still just as amazing. This is one of our go to places and we venture out a couple times a year.
Our group has come here twice a year since January 2013, and it just gets better! Amy is so warm and welcoming, food is home cooked and delicious. They think of everything...wonderful crafting room, a room with tools and a Cricut (plus some cartridges), a gorgeous view out the craft room windows, use of the hot tub (beach towels available), lovely patio during good weather. The layout is so well thought out, and the little extras (plenty of snacks for between meals, extension cords and surge protection bars to have electric available where you need it!) There are so many good things about this wonderful place I can't even list them all. Our twice a year retreats are highly anticipated and fully relaxing!
We had a wonderful experience at Maple Brook Memories. There were 12 of us in our group and we all thought the craft space, bedrooms and bathrooms were great. We would definitely go again.
I was at Maple Brook Memories with a group of friends for a weekend in Feb. 2013. What a wonderful experience! Amy was fabulous, it was like going to stay with your family for a relaxing vacation. Amy thought of everything. The food was delicious, the snacks were plentiful and were never in need of anything. The rooms are very comfortable and the facility was so well designed. We will definitely will return!
