(July 25, 2020, 9:58 pm)We had a craving for something sweet tonight so we came here rather than go to McDonald's for a frappe or sundae. The young employees were pleasant, the ice creams were exactly what we ordered & tasty. Our only complaint is the outside of the store. If I didn't know better, I'd think the shop was closed because the weeds were so overgrown & everything outside just looked unkempt.
We try to support small businesses when we can but Forest Park has changed a lot since we first moved here over 20 years ago. It doesn't seem owners are as motivated to keep their shops looking nice & it's definitely showing in the appearance of businesses, homes & the general area. I hope the lack of tidiness isn't due to ownership being ill or anything.
As mentioned, food was good but wouldn't mind a little more attention paid to the outdoors.
