  Dr. Sonnanstine Was amazing during my surgery and afterwards! I felt very prepared for what I should expect after surgery. I had a couple of difficulties post op and needed to go back into the hospital. His team was very responsive, thorough to rapidly get me the care I needed. It’s been 8 years and it has been by far, the best decision I’ve ever made for my overall health! Thank you ?

  Nov.10,2014 I had gastric sleeve procedure. My highest weight was 299 and spent half of a lifetime of yo-yo and fad dieting. My experience working with the assistance of the nutritionist before the surgery to help me, the patient, form some new habits and problem solve issues with food allergies was excellent. Even over 4 years later I still can meet with the nutritionist to fine tune my eating methods.
  My surgery was easy and no issues. Off pain med by 2nd day home the 4th day. Having said that I had plenty of things that could have complicated the process acid reflux, P.C.O.S, Factor V Leiden single gene mutation ,allergies to medications and foods. Dr. Sonnanstine was and is very knowledgeable. The Doc is kind, compassionate, fair ,honest and will sprinkle a dose of tough love or reality therapy when needed! I’m grateful and thankful! The sleeve has been the perfect tool for me to manage a healthy weight and life style.

  Dr. Sonnanstine is a caring and compassionate doctor. I had my surgery in 2012 and have maintained my weight since then. He always give my praise and compliments whe I go in for a checkup. I had to have another surgery due to acid reflux and found that “old stomach” needed to come out for it was causing the issue.

  Dr. Sonnanstine is an awesome surgeon and came highly recommended to me and has surpassed by expectations. The process from start to finish has been long yet smooth and he’s your biggest cheerleader. His entire staff is helpful and friendly and always ready to help you however they can. He helps so many people In what he does and I am very thankful to him.
