I've been seeing Sean McCreary for over 10 months now and it's been a positive experience. I've always been very apprehensive about getting diagnosed with any sort of mental health issue and having to take medicine. I never had good experiences with psychiatrist as a teenager. Everything was different with Sean McCreary. He is always professional. He takes his time to listen to what I have to say and takes into account my opinions and concerns. When I first saw Sean I was an emotional wreck with severe anxiety and depression. The medicine Sean prescribed me has literally changed my life. I am in control of my life again because I have mental and emotional stability.
I wasn't just another name on a piece of paper for Sean. He is down to earth, calming, and you can tell he genuinely cares. I would highly recommend him!
A colleague referred me to Psych BC after my previous psychiatrist stopped taking my insurance. Fifteen minute 'medication maintenance' appointments cost $100+. My budget couldn't swing that. I started seeing a Psych BC prescriber in April, and then a counselor a few weeks later. I am just thrilled with both. They truly listen and exude genuine compassion. I cannot recommend Psych BC enough. 5+ stars!
