Siebenthaler Fen Boardwalk - Beavercreek Wildlife Area

Very nice hidden nugget. Stumbled across this gem during a road trip. Very nice nature walk. Benches along the way. Large areas without shade so consider this if going on a hot, sunny day. The boards could use some attention, but we felt safe. It's not very high off the ground.

This place is so neat! I learned so much about Ohio wetlands. The walk is easy, although if it's rained recently you'll want to wear shoes that can get wet. We enjoyed our visit!

The scenery was stunning, the boardwalk was well-maintained, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and scenic escape.

As a lover of boardwalk trails, this one was amazing. The boardwalk was well maintained. It has plenty of benches for those who want to rest or simply sit and listen to the wildlife. There is a lookout tower that oversees the Fen. Parking is all gravel and has space for roughly 12 to 15 cars and there is one handicapped space in front. Even though still winter, still very beautiful.

One of my favorite places to walk, the boardwalk is an easy hike surrounded by wildlife. It is amazing how this place changes with time. Trees fall down and other vegetation takes off. This is a great place to bird watch and see dragonflies and butterflies. The boardwalk is kept in great shape and a kiosk in the back of the park has great information on the wildlife and plants in this unique area.
