Dr. Katherine A. Schmidt, MD

She took great care of me 18 years ago. I will never forget her. I was having a gallbladder attack at the same time I was having a pancreatitis attack. My labs were all over the place. She got my Gallbladder out and got me stabilized. Thank You Katherine

I am so happy with Dr. Schmidt! I needed a new doctor because my previous PCP left Kettering Network. At my appointment, she had already reviewed my chart and I appreciated that she took the time to do that since I was a new patient. She has a personable, energetic personality, and provided information to me she didn't need to but wanted to educate me during my appointment. She also reviewed her notes she made on my appointment summary before I left the office. She had excellent follow-up too, and responded to my needs through MyChart within 24 hours. I highly recommend this doctor!!

I have, unfortunately, had to deal with doctors in one capacity or another my whole life. Over the past 30+ years I have gained a rather healthy disrespect for them. I have found they don't listen and usually just prescribe pills, not paying attention to some of the side effects. Then I met Dr. Schmidt. Not only does she listen but works with you to make sure you have the best quality of life possible. Her compassion for her patients is rivaled only by her on the mark instincts. She is the only one that I will ever have as my doc. While I would love to be her only patient, I would be doing others a disservice not to share her qualities with others. Thank you Dr. Schmidt and an equally large thank you to her nurse assistant.

I switched to this doctor after a very negative experience with another doctor in the same practice, reviewed elsewhere. Dr. Schmidt did a good job and was not at all argumentative with me, nor did she lecture me about being overweight. She addressed all concerns with professionalism and efficiency. She will be the regular primary care provider for myself and my family.
