My father in law moved around Thanksgiving time and our family could not be happier, as well as 'Dad. He was widowed 3 years ago and was very saddened by this experience. After a few bouts with nutrition issues and unstable with walking, we convinced him that a retirement community would be the best answer. Little did we know that he would turn into the social person that he has now become.
When we call or visit, he's either at Bingo, Happy Hour, doing exercises, or fellowship at a church service. He now has dinner companions and a social life.
We can only thank Renaissance West and their excellent Team for giving back to "dad" a new lease on life.
He's found a new purpose Thank you Renaissance West ! Dad's family

I have now lived over 4 years here at Renaissance West as my wife and I were the first residents here. We moved in mid August 2009. It has been a moving experience here due to the beautiful settings and ambiance throughout the building, starting as you walk through the doors. The employees are all well trained and meet your every need, all with a smile on their face and a freindly attitude. My wife passed away in early 2012 and I was helped through the initial grief period not only by the entire staff, but also very much by all the management personnel. I have met many wonderful residents here especially when we engage in the many activities offered here: cards, bingo, crafts, fitness, movies, and beauty shop to mention a few. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered by staffed chefs and well trained servers. Food is well planned with the idea to offer a variety of food items. Every meat has two entire items, and meals are planned to offer soup, salad, entree with vegetables, and a delicious dessert to top it off! We have a bus to take residents not only to doctor appointments, but excursions to outside restaurants, Senior Centers, performances, and the YMCA. Church services are offered weekly and well attended.
