I am retracting my initial poor review upon how I was treated by Chris.
Since that time she reached out to me personally apologized and made right some of the errors that occurred in the process. I am going to chalk up our initial encounter as just a bad day and we are all entitled to them.
Thank you Chris for doing what you can to make right the situation.
Chris is Wonderful... I was able to get MORE out of working with Chris in 6 months, than other professionals in 5 years.
Counciling/ therapy is can be very difficult, but
Chris is gental, compassionate and has the wisdom and love to guide clients to the life you desire.
I started seeing Chris a little over a year ago. I had struggled for so many years and worked with a few other therapists before finding Chris. For whatever reason other therapists felt like they just listened without any type of guidance or help processing my thoughts and feelings. On my first day of meeting with Chris I was given tools that helped me emotionally and mentally process all of what I was feeling and to be okay with it. No judgment but love. I cannot say enough about what an amazing person Chris is, and how thankful I am to have found her. Since working with Chris I have found the strength and courage to be who I was always meant to be.
I’ve found Chris to be compassionate, considerate and patient with my time…while therapy can sometimes be unpleasant, and it has, she has helped me to put in the work and has been an incredible asset. She is patient, kind, affirming, but able to set boundaries when needed. I could not recommend her highly enough.
Chris Vavro offers a warm, comfortable, and calming environment where I feel safe to share and always listened to. Chris taught me that our brains have the ability to completely rewire and heal themselves with the techniques she uses. As a survivor of trauma, it’s important to know that I can improve my quality of life and don’t have to feel damaged any longer! Thank you for all that you do and for your dedication to your clients!
