(October 27, 2022, 10:54 am)Been coming here over 40 years and it is an absolute gem. Great fishing, swimming, wildlife, and just general river exploring. Couple of pavillions, permanent cornhole boards, basketball court, and playground. It's a shame the fire ring has been gone for many years. Was great to stay up late and listen to the old timers.

The trout are running.the reason I did not give it five stars is that there are some people there that do not know the etiquette of fishing and try to crowd you out once you have a spot established. Other than that the fishing is superb. Be sure you have a valid license as ODNR does check license has occasionally.
