Dr. Shapiro is a caring and skilled surgeon. He provided personalized care, always knowing what happened in past visits and what plans we had for future visits without reading it from my chart and making me feel like “just another patient.” He remembered my wishes for anesthesia and helped explain what I wanted (and didn’t want) to the anesthesiologist. He told me exactly what I needed to do on my end to get a functional hand again. I’m confident that he is the reason I can use my hand again and I will be forever grateful for that. Highly recommend Dr. Shapiro!
