Mrs Jenn, is a wonderful program coordinator for the spring/ Summer for kids.
I really enjoyed coming here I will come back as I saw some Christmas gifts I want to get. I would advise that anyone who wants to buy Lorain historical gifts to come and buy them here and buy local
So many cool Lorain items in their shop! I want to buy them all!!
It was a nice experience and very informative. I learned alot of things about the lighthouse that I didn't know. They had mini replicas that show what the lighthouse looks like on the inside among other interesting historical items along with educational videos. The main reason I was there was because they did the showcase for the Genesis House called 'The Silent Witness' exhibit in which my mother is named on a plaque. Although the exhibit isn't at T.H.S at all times, (locations are in different spots every year) it was a lovely and very touching exhibit. I would recommend visiting T.H.S just to learn some Lorain roots. It's definitely something to go and check out.
This is a great little museum, with support friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plus some great interactive exhibits for kids and adults both.
