  As a wedding photographer, we love SO many things about Maumee Bay Lodge. The views of Lake Erie are incredible and we always get perfect sunset photos of our couples. The hall itself is great with its huge windows and balcony overlooking the water (and sunset), plus it's so nice to be able to have the ceremony & reception all in one place as well as rooms and cabins for guests to rent and stay the night! We love working here and can't wait to be back!

  Amazing place. Highly recommended for ANY family or romantic getaway. Though, it's definitely more family friendly and family oriented. The pool and game room were a hit with our kids (1 to 10 years old)
  I would be going back time and time again
  Great restaurant with a great selection, reasonably priced, and Great price on kid's meals
  More things to do in the spring and summer , but it's the perfect winter getaway for a family. Fully contained.
  Staff rocked.

  We visited Maumee Bay and had brunch. Our so-and-so his fiance are getting married there in May . Such a beautiful place in the winter, I can imagine it will be the same in the summer. It was absolutely amazing 👏. We walked around and saw the Cabin where the wedding party will stay . We walked through the resort and saw the pool, the kids play area. Everything looked fantastic. We can't wait till May .

  There will always be a special place in my heart for Maumee Bay Lodge. Been coming here since its inception in the 90s.. I watched them build it when I was a teenager and now I'm in my 40's and bring my kids. Swimming pool is HUGE and a splash pad for the little ones.. TWO hot tubs! Great room with video arcade, volleyball/ racket ball courts alongside a kids playground. Locker rooms are spacious and HOT sauna. Rooms are what you would expect for price charged. Clean, spacious and cozy feeling. Balconies are available as well as adjoining rooms. The real gems are the cabins though...highly recommend especially if you have a party of 8 or more. They sleep well, there private and also available with hot tub. Again you get what you pay for. Enjoy your stay.

  This was an outstanding venue for our group to gather to play ukulele music right after Christmas. We enjoyed seeing an array of family groups here converging from far and wide (even from different countries) for their family celebrations. They came prepared with family activities and games and appeared to be having a ball. The "lobby" has lots of inviting gathering spaces with fireplaces along the winding main floor for families and groups to gather without being in anyone's way. Some of the larger groups had 30 or more people. The hotel provided family-oriented activities in the ballroom.
  Although a great venue for families, I would definitely plan a business event here. Facilities and service are outstanding! The prices were surprisingly reasonable.
  P.S. Make sure you make reservations through the actual hotel, not through some on-line secondary reseller. (I paid double by accidentally doing that.)
