Hitchcock Woods

Nice wood park, but trails are not well marked and can be muddy.

A nice quiet trail for dog walking...just nature so could be muddy or buggy but my dog loved it...

Was very muddy. 1.3 miles of trails.

Hitchcock woods is a recent add to the metroparks and very appreciated.... It's a nice loop with clearly defined path of about 2 miles.... What I like is that there is different terrain,the south side had nic high canopy woods while the north side had the creek... The negatives are that hunting is open in that area and that the park has even allowed a tree stand with site lines over the trails... Also some negligence in regular maintenance

An easy 1.4 mile hike through the woods. I would bring a pair of boots if it has rained recently as it can get a bit Nicky.
