West Drive Scenic Overlook

Nice spot but you really can't see much in the summer.

This park is among the finest of the Cleveland Metro Parks. Besides the spillway swimming area, Hinckley lake has a stroller friendly trail that is accessible from multiple parking areas and encompasses the entire lake. There is a boathouse/store where you can rent canoe's or paddle boats by the hour at reasonable rates. There are plenty of picnic areas as well as docks along the trail to fish or just take a rest. If you are looking to take a leisurely scenic walk and don't want to travel far then this is the place! The boat house fall hours begin after labor day and closes at 5 pm.

Cold but beautiful. The ice-covered lake was groaning and popping loudly. Guess because there's moving water underneath.

Beautiful and unexpected place!

Gorgeous view. Great place to take a walk. The path is wide and paved and offers some hills and cool little trails you can dip off into. Just a heads up* I was warned about coyotes while I was there but I didn't encounter any myself.
