This place is a Great Home Town Barber Shop. Wouldn’t ever want to go any where else. Plus always a Good laugh with the conversations.

Great barbershop. They take reservations if you don't want to wait. Check out their shop for surprise local treats like honey, apple butter, and peanu brittle.

Good old fashioned barber 💈 shop does a better job then a female salon place. When Jim cuts my hair, the sides grow in evenly. When the girly salon people cut my hair, it grows in uneven and ugly. i feel unwelcome at the girly places because I'm no longer a gorgeous youngster. Jim cuts my the way i ask him to. Every month, my buddies and ride out there to got hair cuts. Later on, we go out to eat. It's a fun ritual.

I absolutely love getting my hair cut at the Mug and Brush by Jim and Gary. To finish the hair cut off they use a warm lather of shaving cream and shave your neck with a straight razor. I tried one of the chains that offer the $5 haircut and i ended up having to go to jim to fix it. I have personally been going there for over 25 years and recommend them to all my friends. They charge like $12. Over the years they have waited to raise their prices until they absolutely had to and when they have, it hasn't been more than $1. I am going to be screwed if they ever decide to retire because the only other place that comes close to them i have found is in SC.

Jim and Gary will accommodate any tonsorial request. They can snip and shave with the best. But the coolest thing is not the kooky decor, the super friendly and fast service or even the great haircuts. If you want to drive out to Farmersville, slow your roll, and step back in time, you really must experience Mug & Brush! And after the guys have brought out the best in you with a handsome haircut and lots of warm laughter, head across the street to The Village Inn for sports on TV, a few cold ones, and the best burgers and pizzas around.
