A Dream Come True

I have started my journey for weight loss with JourneyLite in October 2022. I was uncertain as to whether I’d be brave enough to go through the actual surgery, so Dr. Augusta and I decided to start the plan with weight loss medicine while proceeding with the (potential) goal of surgery. I informed Dr. Augusta that a previous surgeon declined to proceed due to my several abdomen surgeries and related scar tissues – he assured me that he would try his best, but would interrupt if it was too complicated to make sure I didn’t have any major risks. Fast forward to April 2023 when I decided I wanted to go ahead, so the surgery was scheduled for August 2, 2023. Dr. Augusta performed the surgery acknowledging that it was challenging, but did not give up and made sure he was able to complete it successfully and with no issues. There aren’t many words to express how amazing this team has been throughout this whole process! From the office staff to the nurses both in the office and the surgery facility they all made me feel cared for, safe and it truly felt like family! I needed that because I was alone through it all due to the fact my family is overseas, but I never felt that way! I feel so blessed to have found them and would highly recommend them to anyone!! I have had such an amazing experience with Dr. Curry and his team. Everyone is kind, knowledgeable and respectful. They respond quickly and are super helpful. They have made this process including the aftercare easy and actually seem to care about their patients. I highly recommend them!

I did a lot of research when I started looking into Weight Loss procedures, and from what I have read and heard helped me make my decision an easy one.There were so many good things I have seen since beginning my journey with Dr Curry and his staff.
