THE SUNSETS there are AH-MAZING!
We haven't gone to Put-in-Bay and not had a great time! Great place to party with friends/family. Lots of bachelor/bachelorette parties happen here!
We typically travel by boat from Michigan and stay at the public boat docks. The night life is a blast! Rent a golf cart and explore! Even the kiddos would enjoy going through the week. Our favorite places to visit are definitely the swim up bars, Frosty's, actually there's not much we don't like visiting. I recommend ALL my friends/family to at least go once--you won't regret it!
Absolutely love coming to Put-In-Bay! Whether it's with my kids and family our out for a night with friends, there is always something going on. Every time we've stayed at the Resort it has been so much fun and super clean. We go back a couple times every year :)
An experience like no other... When you step onto the island, you feel like you are amongst lifelong friends. The atmosphere can be anything that you want it to be. Whether you are looking to relax, sightsee, research the historical significance of the area or sing and dance the evening away..."you've got it all in The Bay"
I have been going to Put in Bay since I was a small kid which I have fond memories of. However, going back as an adult has been an even better experience. Riding golf carts, all the different places to go and see, good drinks, great views, sunsets, water activities, etc. Such a great "staycation" for Ohioans and it is very close to many other attractions on the mainland as well!!
Had a great time with my husband visiting Put-In-Bay! We visited for a day trip and everything runs so smoothly to get you there and going on your adventure. My biggest suggestion for anyone looking to visit is to browse the Convention Bureau's website to download their guide and familiarize yourself with how to get around and the times everything is open. There are all kinds of discounts and coupons available and you can even get your rental cart reserved online (wish I would have known this and got a packaged deal, so I'm passing on my experience). We went in October and not everything was open (we still had a full day, though), so we plan to go back and check out the history and nature attractions and maybe the nighttime scene. We did get a chance to see a historical rifle demo, which was really interesting.
